SIT OPPORTUNITY FUND
Help 20 adults in Monrovia build practical digital skills through sponsored training.

CONFIDENCE STARTS WITH OPPORTUNITY
Using a computer. Working with a spreadsheet. Applying for a job. A first digital skill can make the next step feel possible.
We’re preparing a sponsored foundation programme at SIT’s Monrovia campus, beginning with 20 proposed places. The aim is free course tuition for selected, confirmed learners.
Sponsor, offer equipment or share your skills.
We confirm delivery, funding and applications.
Selected learners receive a written offer.
The proposed £100 per course place is a working estimate. Teaching costs, equipment, data, transport and any remaining student costs must be confirmed in the programme terms before collection opens. Sponsorship supports the programme; it does not select a student or guarantee an individual place.
Two rooms × 20 learners × morning/evening sessions × three intakes = 240 annual course places, with a working target of £24,000. This is a later ambition, separate from the first cohort. Returning learners may take more than one course.
Equipment, mentoring and class sponsorship are welcome topics for discussion. We’re also exploring online AI introductions and volunteer sessions for sponsors. Dates and benefits will be confirmed separately.
