Entry requirements and equipment

The current sponsored programme is for adults aged 18 or over who can attend in Monrovia.

  • Confident computer use, files and internet basics. No prior IT employment is required.
What’s included and what it costs

This pathway is intended for sponsor-funded places. A place is free only when SIT publishes an approved funded cohort with its full cost coverage. Dates and places are currently to be confirmed. Practice does not require a personal paid software subscription.

Review the cost coverage of your selected intake. Applying or registering interest does not require a donation.

Assessment and certificate

SIT Learning certificate of completion after the practical portfolio and individual assessment. Feedback and supported reassessment are included in the teaching plan. This is not a vendor certification or employment guarantee.

SIT Learning is part of SIT TECHNOLOGY LIMITED (company 12901045). Effective 4 October 2026.

These terms apply to sponsor-funded adult learning at SIT Learning, Monrovia. You must be at least 18 and able to attend the published campus timetable. Check the course entry requirements and ask SIT if you need help choosing a pathway.

Interest and waiting-list requests do not reserve a place. A successful application to an open, approved funded cohort reserves one place provisionally for seven days, or until the cohort ends if sooner. The confirmation shows your reference and expiry. A failed or incomplete submission creates no reservation. Contact SIT before expiry if you need help; an extension depends on staff review and availability.

A provisional reservation is not final enrolment. Staff review eligibility, your details, funding and your acceptance of the offer before confirming enrolment. Expired or released reservations stop holding a seat. Do not rely on a place until SIT confirms enrolment. Joining the waiting list does not automatically enrol you when a seat becomes available.

No application fee, donation or paid software subscription is required to request a free place. Only the costs expressly covered by the approved cohort are funded. Transport, meals, data or other expenses are not promised unless listed. The paid version of a course is separate.

Use accurate contact details and keep your reference. Contact SIT to correct details, withdraw or discuss attendance, accessibility or a reservation. Do not include passwords, bank details, identity-document numbers or medical information in the open message field. Email is optional when a valid phone number is provided as your preferred reply method.

SIT uses the information to handle your request as explained in the linked privacy notice. Optional CRM coordination permission is separate; it does not enrol students in sponsor marketing. Completion certificates depend on the published practical assessment requirements and are not vendor qualifications or guarantees of work.

Staff must confirm enrolment before the hold expires or extend it. Waiting-list and future-interest requests do not reserve a seat. No payment is taken.
