Are the 12-week online programmes free?
They are intended to be free to learners if sponsorship is secured. Funded places, eligibility and dates have not been confirmed. Enquiring does not reserve a place. The shorter professional courses have separate planned fees. Device, data and software costs must be checked before enrolment.
What computer and internet access will I need?
A laptop or desktop is needed for practical computer, spreadsheet and project work. A phone may help you keep in touch, but is not a replacement for the required computer. Admissions will check your connection, device and any software requirements before confirming an offer.
What if my connection is unreliable?
The Liberia programme is being designed around downloadable notes, smaller files and supported practice. Any campus access or device support needs to be arranged in advance. Live classes still need a suitable connection; offline video and data allowances are not promised.
When will classes take place?
Dates and tutors are still to be confirmed for the proposed programmes. Offers will show a named time zone. The hub also shows class times in your browser’s local time and provides calendar downloads. Share your availability when you enquire.
Will lessons be recorded?
Recording availability and the access period will be stated in your cohort offer. Tutors give notice before recording. Access is restricted through the meeting provider. Watching a replay does not automatically count as live attendance.
How is my work assessed?
Practical tasks and a final project provide evidence of learning. Any SIT completion certificate recognises the stated participation and assessment requirements. It is not a degree, accredited qualification or Microsoft, Zoom or other vendor certification.
What about SIT Learning Live?
SIT Live is being prepared for a future integrated experience. Initial cohorts will use Teams or Zoom while live delivery, access and replay workflows are verified.
Can an organisation support a programme?
Yes. We welcome discussions about course sponsorship, devices, connectivity, teaching and learner support. Programme budgets, reporting and the number of places supported should be agreed before any funding commitment.
